Matthew D. Vaughan

Matthew D. Vaughan has been practicing in the financial services industry since 2005. Before coming to Cooke Capital, Mr. Vaughan began his career in the investment business with Capital Investment Companies in Raleigh, NC. Mr. Vaughan has passed the Series 7, Series 26, Series 63 and Series 66 exams and he holds a North Carolina Insurance License. He has worked with individual investors since that time and also worked extensively in business and estate planning.

Matthew grew up on his family’s farm in eastern North Carolina. He is a graduate of Ridgecroft Academy in Ahoskie, NC and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill where he earned a BA in American History. He also attended the Carolina Business Institute at Kenan Flagler Business School at UNC-CH. He resides in Goldsboro, NC with his wife, Marlowe and daughter, Kivett
